AOP Cahors. This village cuvée comes from three distinct subsoils, each with its own signature: the breadth of the red siderolithic clays, the length of the Kimmeridgian limestones, and the immediacy of the marls. With this blend, Domaine la Calmette aims to faithfully capture the character of their commune's wines: lively and ripe juices, refined by cool nights and warm days, with a silky structure that easily fades into the background.
Between notes of cherries and spices, this sunny yet easy-drinking cuvée is composed primarily of Malbec (90%) and reveals a mineral acidity.
