Age Verification
In accordance with Ontario law, you must be 19 years of age or older to purchase alcohol. A valid government-issued photo ID and adult signature are required upon delivery. Couriers cannot leave packages containing alcohol unattended.
Ontario-Only Shipping
We are licensed to ship alcoholic products within Ontario only. We are unable to deliver alcohol to other provinces or outside Canada. Non-alcoholic items (such as merchandise or pantry goods) may be available for broader shipping, please contact us for details.
Food Requirement (Ontario Law)
Under Ontario regulations for eating and drinking establishments, each order containing alcohol must also include at least one food item. If your cart contains only alcohol, you’ll be prompted to add a qualifying food item before checkout.
Processing & Delivery Times
Orders are packed within 1–2 business days and shipped via Canada Post.
Delivery typically takes 1–3 business days across Ontario, depending on your location. Please note that rural or remote addresses may experience slightly longer transit times. If you’re looking to receive your order sooner, you’re always welcome to shop in-store or request Uber delivery within the GTA for same-day service (subject to availability).
Delivery Attempts & Return Shipments
Canada Post will make multiple delivery attempts in accordance with their delivery policy. If these attempts are unsuccessful and your package is returned to BOTTEGA VOLO, you may choose to have your order re-shipped at your expense. Additional delivery fees will apply for any re-issued shipment. Alternatively, you may arrange to pick up your order in-store once it has been returned.
General Policy (Returns)
Due to provincial alcohol regulations, we cannot accept returns of wine once it has left our shop, unless the product is damaged or defective. We cannot accept returns for bottles that have been opened, consumed, or improperly stored.
Damaged Orders
If your order arrives broken, leaking, or otherwise damaged, please email us at orders@bottegavolo.com within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number, photos of the damage, and a short description of the issue. We’ll offer a replacement, store credit, or refund as appropriate.
Corked or Faulty Bottles
Natural wine is unpredictable by nature cloudiness, sediment, or slight fizz are normal characteristics and not considered faults. However, if you believe a bottle is corked or genuinely faulty, contact us and we’ll review your case individually.
Lost or Incorrect Orders
If your package is lost or you receive the wrong item, please get in touch with us right away. We’ll work with our courier partners to resolve the issue and send a replacement or refund.
