Bar Volo and Revel have been friends for a decade. Volo was the first to pour Revel in Toronto—all the way back in 2015. It was the start of something special. Since then, we’ve had a lot of feelings about fruit. The truth is, some apples are better than others.
After a decade of drinking extremely dry ciders, we’ve been craving something a little different. Something balanced, but by natural apple sugars and tannins, not the typical acid/sugar bombs we find in North America.
Sidro is that cider. Dry, but with a touch of apple sweetness. Delicate tannins. North American and English cider apples (all grown here of course). And just a little bit of funk. Sidro is the perfect pub cider, made to crush. The quintessential companion to Volo’s English beers. We thought about it a lot, so you don’t have to.
