Catarratto is the most important white grape in the region—one whose nobility isn't yet understood by the wider wine world—but with more and more young producers like Drago taking a stab at it, we'll see more and more oceanic, limestone-y versions of this white wine that can have lots of brightness and lots of texture all at once. Ocean food, sunshiney gold, mineral powder finish.
This Catarratto is produced with local grapes with a gentle pressing, spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks, and subsequent aging also in stainless steel tanks, for approximately 6 months.
We operate as a licensed eating and drinking establishment. You must be 19+ years of age, reside in Ontario and include a food item with the purchase of alcohol. Valid government photo ID must be presented at the time of accepting delivery.
Order online and pick up at our shop (608 College St) during regular business hours.
Local Delivery: Average of 2-7 business day delivery depending on address in Southern and Eastern Ontario. Eligibility will be based on the postal code provided at check out.
Canada Post: 2-5 business day delivery to most addresses in Ontario serviced by Canada Post. Orders are processed the following business day. Orders placed on Friday will be processed the following week.
Please note!
All orders exceeding 6x750mL bottles or $400 or more in value will be sent via Local Delivery and not with Canada Post.
Items requiring freezing or refrigeration will be removed from orders requiring shipping.
