Luc 'Bim' Lafontaine has been a close friend of Volo since his early days brewing at Dieu du Ciel! in Montréal. Since then, Bim has reinvented classic styles, incorporated new bold flavours and ingredients and has showcased oft forgotten brewing practices at his current brewery, Godspeed. For this beer, we wanted to honour Volo's love for classic IPAs while acknowledging Bim's exploration of contemporary Czech brewing and ingredients. Hopped with only Czech Kazbek hops, this strong ale balances bitter herbaceousness with a pleasant ripe citrus and stone fruit flavour.
