Passo Nero 2020 is an elegant dessert wine from acclaimed Sicilian winemaker Arianna Occhipinti. Made exclusively from Nero d'Avola grapes that are hand-harvested and sun-dried for 15 days using the traditional 'appassimento' method. The wine ages for 16 months in large oak barrels and 6 months in bottle, developing a deep garnet color and complex profile. Expect intense aromas of fresh and preserved cherries layered with dark chocolate notes. The palate masterfully balances natural sweetness with vibrant acidity, delivering a rich yet fresh experience despite its 16% alcohol content. A stunning example of premium Sicilian winemaking that pairs beautifully with desserts or aged cheeses.
We operate as a licensed eating and drinking establishment. You must be 19+ years of age, reside in Ontario and include a food item with the purchase of alcohol. Valid government photo ID must be presented at the time of accepting delivery.
Order online and pick up at our shop (608 College St) during regular business hours.
Canada Post: 2-5 business day delivery to most addresses in Ontario serviced by Canada Post.
Large Orders: Orders exceeding 6x750mL bottles or $400 or more in value will be sent via Local Delivery and not with Canada Post. Some orders may require additional shipping if more than one box is required. Due to the risk of shipping, we may not be ale to ship large orders at once to some addresses.
Refrigerated and Frozen Items: All orders are sent at ambient temperatures. Items requiring freezing or refrigeration will be removed from orders requiring shipping.
Processing Time: Orders are generally processed within 2 business days, however we cannot guarantee turn around time during peak seasons. Feel free to reach out to our store team for more information on processing time for a specific order!
