Cask Ale is best served fresh but sometimes it’s impossible to find that perfect pub pouring a proper pint of real ale. Fret not, we have you covered this Holiday Season with Volo’s Real Ale In Box! Enjoy 8 proper pints of unfiltered, unpasteurized, fresh cask ale in the comfort of your own home.
Choose either Gus (Robust Porter) or Bruna (Brown Ale). Cask ale boxes are 4L bag-in-box, best consumed within 24 hours of tapping. What is cask ale?

We will be offering TWO pick up windows only, December 15th-19th and December 27th-31st. You will receive a notification from Shopify when the box is ready to pick up. Pre-orders must be picked up from the Bottega Volo location at 608 College St.
AVAILABLE CASK ALES
Volo Gus (Porter, 5.4% ABV, 4L)
Gus is a Robust Porter inspired by the classic London Porter beloved for its rich malt character and balanced roasty bitterness. Notes of chocolate, dark dried fruit, coffee and a mild roast finish. This beer drinks smooth and satisfying.
Volo Bruna (Brown Ale, 4.9% ABV, 4L)
Roasty, nutty and comforting, Bruna is a traditional Northern English Brown Ale that is intriguing yet approachable. Secondary notes of caramel and baking spice lend balance to the gentle hop bitterness and roast dryness of the Brown and Pale Chocolate malts. A full body, despite the 4.9% abv, Bruna is superbly sessionable - an ideal beer to enjoy on cask or nitro.

We operate as a licensed eating and drinking establishment. You must be 19+ years of age, reside in Ontario and include a food item with the purchase of alcohol. Valid government photo ID must be presented at the time of accepting delivery.
Order online and pick up at our shop (608 College St) during regular business hours.
Canada Post: 2-5 business day delivery to most addresses in Ontario serviced by Canada Post.
Large Orders: Orders exceeding 6x750mL bottles or $400 or more in value will be sent via Local Delivery and not with Canada Post. Some orders may require additional shipping if more than one box is required. Due to the risk of shipping, we may not be ale to ship large orders at once to some addresses.
Refrigerated and Frozen Items: All orders are sent at ambient temperatures. Items requiring freezing or refrigeration will be removed from orders requiring shipping.
Processing Time: Orders are generally processed within 2 business days, however we cannot guarantee turn around time during peak seasons. Feel free to reach out to our store team for more information on processing time for a specific order!
