Vinyes Tortuga

Dido and Jurriaan Morsink settled in Alt-Empordà, via Amsterdam, after years of working harvests across the globe. In 2018 they made their first vintage from 9.5 hectares of their own vines, farming holistically and entirely off-grid on solar panels and well water, living among the vines.

Vinyes Tortuga is their estate project: grapes harvested early for bright acidity, wild-fermented, unfiltered, each bottle named after a song. In 2020 they expanded into a 1960s cooperative building in the medieval town of Rabós, launching Fruita Analógica to source from the best organic growers in the region and make natural wine accessible to a wider audience. Same hands-off approach, wider reach, and a building full of old cement tanks that will eventually house a restaurant, wine bar, and guesthouse. Two labels, one philosophy, no shortcuts.
