Azimut

The Azimut wine project, part of Cellers de Can Suriol, focuses on producing approachable, organic wines from the Penedés region of Spain. The Suriol family has been farming the estate since the 1600s, and they transitioned to certified organic practices in the 1990s, incorporating biodynamic methods later on. The Azimut line uses grapes from both the Suriol estate and nearby organic vineyards, emphasizing sustainability and natural viticulture. These wines are crafted with minimal intervention, using spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and no fining or filtering, resulting in fresh, easy-drinking wines that showcase the region’s terroir.
