“Brisa,” meaning pomace in Catalan, gives its name to “Brisat,” the traditional term for skin-contact wines in the Penedés region. This wine undergoes natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts, spending 5 days on skins before aging for 3 months in underground concrete tanks. It’s unfiltered, unfined, and free of additives, with just a small amount of sulfur added at bottling (max 30ppm). As the winemaker Assís describes it, the wine embodies “texture, spices, fruit, laughter, and hanging out”—a fun, easy-going light orange perfect for any occasion!
