This wine represents Wetzer's interpretation of the tradition of the white wines of the region, his attempt to bring the "weiss" back to life with carefully selected plots. The winemaking is relatively simple, with a short 24 hour maceration on the skins and a third fermented in barrel and the rest in stainless steel. Refreshing and layered. Dry and approachable but thrilling nonetheless. Lemon and green apple upfront with beeswax and honey undertones as it warms.
