Cantina Indigeno is one of the most exciting natural wine producers in Italy, making wines with minimal intervention with organically farmed mostly Montepulciano and Trebbiano grapes. Their wines are enchanting, alive, and evolving in the glass.
The group of friends friends who in 2016 founded Indigeno had worked together for many years in the beer industry before embarking on the new project, with friends such as Lammidia providing inspiration to move into the world of wine. Now working 9ha of organically certified vines, their modus operandi is to bring abandoned vineyards back to health, seeking out some of the less heralded varieties of their region and creating fresh and vital wines that speak of this incredible terroir.
About the Wine
Juicy, fun-times and strong 'pizza wine' vibes to be found here, and who doesn't love a big bottle? 100% Montepulciano, whose juicy red cherry and red currant fruits are tempered by a slightly meaty, smoky, and anise-laden underbelly. A wine that takes incredibly well to a 15 min stint in the fridge before being consumed in a flash.
We operate as a licensed eating and drinking establishment. You must be 19+ years of age, reside in Ontario and include a food item with the purchase of alcohol. Valid government photo ID must be presented at the time of accepting delivery.

2-5 business day delivery to most addresses in Ontario serviced by Canada Post. Orders placed on Friday will be processed the following week.
