Sindi Mandiqi is a young wine producer who works as Olek’s right hand woman in the production, as well as having recently begun launching her own wines in Olek’s cellar. Sindi’s Nebbiolo is a pure, unaltered expression of this noble grape. Her first vintage is made with grapes from a beautiful vineyard near the area of Diano d'Alba and Ricca. Because she's not a huge fan of oaked Nebbiolo, this wine was macerated for roughly ten days during ferment in stainless steel tank. It's unfined and unfiltered and offers solid ripe red fruit with a touch of Nebbiolo tannins and a great sense of liveliness and lift. Medium weight, but lots of freshness.
